Refund & Revision Policy

At Website Design In London, we stand behind the quality of our work. We believe in transparent, fair dealings with every client. This policy outlines the revision process and refund eligibility for all our services.

We encourage all clients to review their project contract carefully before signing, as specific revision allowances and payment terms may vary by project scope.

What counts as a revision?

A revision is a modification to work that has already been delivered and is within the original agreed scope. This includes adjustments to colours, fonts, layout, text content, and imagery.

Standard revision rounds by service:

• Web Design (full project): Up to 3 rounds of revisions per design stage (wireframe, design, development)
• Logo & Branding: 3 initial concepts + up to 3 rounds of revisions on the chosen concept
• Landing Pages: 2 rounds of revisions after delivery
• SEO & Content: 1 round of revisions per piece of delivered content
• Ads Management: Ongoing optimisations are included; revisions to campaign structure within 1 to 4 weeks of setup

What is NOT a revision (scope change):

• Changing the overall design direction after approval of initial concept
• Adding new pages, features, or functionality not included in the original brief
• Requesting changes after final approval has been given
• Switching to a completely different brand identity mid-project

Scope changes are treated as new work and quoted separately at our standard rates.

Additional revision rounds:

Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are available at £75–£120/hour depending on complexity and urgency.

We invest significant time and expertise into every project. Our refund policy reflects the stage at which a request is made:

Deposit policy: All deposits are non-refundable once the project has entered the design phase. This compensates for time reserved, research conducted, and creative work invested.

SEO is a long-term strategy and results take time. Our SEO refund policy is as follows:

• SEO retainer payments are non-refundable once the work for that month has commenced
• We provide a 90-day performance review milestone. If we have not delivered agreed deliverables (not results, as ranking timelines vary), we will work an additional month at no charge
• Monthly SEO contracts can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice - you will not be charged for the following month
• No refunds are given for ranking changes caused by Google algorithm updates beyond our control

For Google Ads and Meta Ads management:

• Management fees are separate from your advertising budget - management fees are non-refundable once setup is complete
• Your advertising budget (paid directly to Google/Meta) is controlled by you and subject to Google's/Meta's own refund policies
• First-month campaign setup fees are non-refundable once campaigns are live
• Monthly management can be cancelled with 30 days' notice

For ongoing monthly services:

• Services are billed monthly and are non-refundable for the current billing period
• You can cancel at any time by providing 30 days' written notice
• No partial refunds are given for unused days within a billing period
• All data and files will be provided to you upon cancellation

We aim to acknowledge all requests within 2 business days and resolve them within 10 business days.

We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. In the first instance, please contact us directly. If we cannot resolve the matter internally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
