    Last updated: 22 March 2026

    1. Introduction

These Service Terms govern the provision of web design, digital marketing, SEO, branding, and related services by Website Design In London ("we", "us", "our") to our clients ("you", "your").

By engaging our services, commissioning a project, or signing a contract with us, you agree to be bound by these Service Terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Our registered business address is: 12-20 Camomile St, London EC3A 7PT, UK. For enquiries: contact@websitedesigninlondon.uk

    2. Scope of Services

Our services include but are not limited to:

    • Custom website design and development
    • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - on-page, technical, and local SEO
    • Google My Business (GMB) optimisation
    • Branding, logo design, and visual identity
    • Google Ads and Meta Ads management
    • Website management, maintenance, and hosting support

The specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for your project will be set out in a written proposal or digital contract provided before work commences.

    3. Project Commencement

    Work begins only after:

    • A written agreement or digital contract has been signed by both parties
    • The agreed deposit or full payment has been received (as specified in the contract)
    • All required content, materials, or access credentials have been provided by the client

Delays caused by the client in providing materials will result in project timeline adjustments at our discretion.

    4. Client Responsibilities

    You agree to:

    • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information required for the project
    • Supply all content (text, images, logos) unless a content creation service has been included
    • Designate a single point of contact with authority to approve decisions
    • Respond to requests for feedback or approval within 5 business days
    • Ensure you have full ownership or licence rights for any third-party materials you provide to us

    5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full and final payment, all final deliverables created specifically for your project (website design, custom graphics, written content produced by us) will become your property.

    We retain the right to:

    • Display your project in our portfolio unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing
    • Retain ownership of any reusable code libraries, frameworks, or third-party tools incorporated into your project
    • Retain all rights to concepts, designs, and deliverables that are not included in the final approved scope

    6. Payment Terms

Payment structures are outlined in your individual project contract. Standard terms apply as follows:

    • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 30–50% of the project value) is required before work begins
    • Milestone payments: Larger projects may require payments at agreed milestones
    • Final payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion or before website launch (whichever comes first)
    • Late payments: Invoices unpaid after 14 days may incur an administration charge of 5% per month on the outstanding balance
    • Suspended work: We reserve the right to pause all work if payments become overdue

    7. Revisions and Amendments

Each project includes a set number of revision rounds as specified in your contract. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately in advance, with a clear written estimate provided before any extra work begins.

A revision is defined as minor adjustments to agreed deliverables. Fundamental changes to the project brief, design direction, or scope constitute new work and will be quoted separately.

    8. Turnaround and Deadlines

We aim to meet all agreed deadlines and will communicate promptly if any delays arise on our end. Project timelines are dependent on timely receipt of client materials and approvals.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

    • Late delivery of client-supplied content or feedback
    • Third-party service failures (hosting providers, domain registrars, etc.)
    • Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

    9. Third-Party Services

Some services may require the use of third-party platforms (e.g, WordPress, Shopify, Google Ads, hosting providers). These are subject to their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or pricing adjustments made by third-party providers.

    10. Governing Law

These Service Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
